Dr Ashwini Sureshkumar graduated from Bombay Veterinary College, Mumbai, India in 2011.  She was a Veterinarian at a busy Small Animal Veterinary practice in Mumbai (Bombay), before she moved to the US. After nine months at LOUISIANA STATE UNIVERSITY as a trainee and after completing her ECFVG Licensing certification she joined a Small Animal General practice in San Francisco and in the summer of 2022 joined our team at Coastal Cat Clinic.

Dr. Ashwini is someone who always wanted to be a veterinarian and has two cats who might sometimes answer to Jinx and Choco :). Her interests are in internal medicine, feline medicine and infectious diseases. In her free time, she likes to bake, practices yoga and enjoys exploring new places.
